| 2026 | Sustainable Human-AI Collaboration in Creative Contexts: An Integrated Approach of CASA, UTAUT, Psychological Ownership, and Self-Determination TheoryabstractThis study examines the psychological mechanisms that enable sustainable human–AI collaboration in creative tasks. Drawing on the CASA paradigm, we frame generative AI as a social collaborator and integrate UTAUT, psychological ownership theory, and self-determination theory to explain users’ continued engagement with AI tools. We test how AI performance expectancy influences psychological ownership, collaboration satisfaction, and continuance intention, and whether these mechanisms vary by creative context (pure vs. work-related) or collaboration type (human-led vs. AI-led). Results show that performance expectancy enhances ownership, satisfaction, and continuance intention, with ownership and satisfaction further reinforcing continued use. However, in AI-led collaboration, its positive effect on satisfaction is weakened, while creative context shows no significant differences, suggesting that core psychological processes generalize across creative purposes. This study extends UTAUT by incorporating psychological mechanisms into human–AI collaboration and provides a theoretical basis for sustainable use of generative AI. Semin Hong, Sang Woo Lee |

| 2023 | Normative or Effective? The Role of News Diversity and Trust in News Recommendation ServicesabstractIn recent years, online news portals have initiated the use of algorithms to recommend news. The purpose of this study was to determine how the perceived personalization of Naver News users affects continuance intention through the mediation of trust, user satisfaction, and perceived usefulness. Moreover, this study investigated how the perceived news diversity affects continuance intention through the mediation of user satisfaction and perceived usefulness, using data collected from 451 participants in South Korea. Research findings revealed that perceived personalization had a positive effect on continuance intention through the mediation of trust, user satisfaction, and perceived usefulness. Furthermore, perceived news diversity had a positive effect on continuance intention through the mediation of user satisfaction, a finding that has not been outlined in previous studies. This study also shares several practical implications that might be of interest to news aggregators and portals toward increasing their users’ trust, and satisfaction. Seung Yeop Lee, Sang Woo Lee |

| 2022 | Facebook Use and Job Performance: The Mediating Effects of Social Capital, Knowledge Sharing, and Job SatisfactionabstractSocial networking sites (SNSs) are extensively used worldwide, and the number of workers who use them in their workplaces is increasing. This study empirically examined whether social capital, knowledge sharing, and job satisfaction can mediate the effects of Facebook use on job performance. The results demonstrated that Facebook use positively affected both bonding and bridging social capital. In addition, both types of social capital have positive effects on online and offline knowledge sharing. While offline knowledge sharing and job satisfaction positively affected perceived job performance, online knowledge sharing negatively affected perceived job performance. On the other hand, offline and online knowledge sharing did not have a statistically significant effect on supervisor-rated job performance. Only job satisfaction had a positive effect. This study’s findings provide practical implications for financial companies that are considering policies related to the use of SNSs and want to enhance their employees’ job performance. | 2018 | The effect of Facebook use on office workers' job performance and the moderating effects of task equivocality and interdependenceabstractAs office workers’ use of social networking sites (SNSs) has increased, so has research interest in the effect of SNS use on job performance. The present study employs data collected from South Korean office workers to examine how the use of the SNS Facebook affects job performance and to investigate the moderating effects of task characteristics (task equivocality and task interdependence). The results show that Facebook use for work has a positive effect on job performance, although the time spent on Facebook use does not have a significant effect on job performance. Moreover, task interdependence is associated with a decrease in the effect of Facebook use for work on job performance. In other words, task interdependence has a negative moderating effect on the impact of Facebook use for work on job performance. The reason is that Facebook is particularly advantageous for enhancing performance in tasks where the level of interdependence is low because it is a medium with relatively low synchrony and is unsuitable for one-to-one relationship building. This study has implications for companies that are concerned about formulating policies related to employees’ use of SNSs. Seung Yeop Lee, Sang Woo Lee |

| 2001 | A Decoupled Vibratory Gyroscope using a Mixed Micro-machining TechnologyabstractThis paper presents the highly reliable and wafer level vacuum packaged vertical micro-gyroscope with decoupled vibrating structures. In order to increase the sensitivity by exact tuning the resonant modes without instability problem, we devised two torsion springs for sensing mode in addition to four driving springs attached to outer gimbal. For the fabrication of the proposed gyroscope with high aspect ratio and wafer level vacuum packaging, we used the mixed micro-machining process which has the merits of a conventional surface and bulk micro-machining process. The measured vacuum level of the fabricated gyroscope was about 100 mTorr and the driving and sensing mode frequencies were tuned in 5 Hz. The gyroscope has the sensitivity of 0.013 deg./sec and bandwidth of 60 Hz. The output non-linearity is below than 2% in +100 deg./sec full scale.
