2024 Network Flow Systems for Decision Making with Motivation Accounting
abstract
The present paper is dedicated to the study of motivation and the attempt to embed it in decision-making systems. This research is relevant in the context of modern information technology. A tendency is observed in which the exact mathematical models created in an attempt to adequately describe real objects and processes, on the one hand, and the informalized descriptions of these processes within the framework of psychology, on the other, begin to gradually converge. This leads to qualitative changes in views of exactly how decision-making processes take place. The paper presents a numerical example to illustrate the obtained theoretical results.

2024 Enhancing User Experience in E-Learning through Incorporation of Personality Traits
abstract
The following paper investigates the relationship between personality and usability within e-learning contexts. Drawing from a review of diverse studies of this scientific area, a set of recommendations is proposed to guide the design and implementation of e-learning platforms that cater to different user personalities. These recommendations serve as a pathway toward achieving better user acceptance by integrating insights from personality psychology into the usability design process. Moreover, the paper outlines avenues for future research, highlighting opportunities for investigating the interplay between personality traits and usability in e-learning environments.

2024 Anomaly Identification in a Smart Farming Platform
abstract
In recent years, anomaly detection in various situations has emerged as an area of increasing theoretical and practical interest. The article presents an approach for developing a component for identifying and locating possible anomalies in agricultural processes. A possible classification of suspected types of anomalies specific to agriculture is presented. Three groups of methods suitable for detecting anomalies in agriculture are briefly described. The component will be integrated into the smart farming platform known as ZEMELA. ZEMELA is a regional platform where the focus is placed on maximum exploitation of the specifics of the observed agricultural area. To demonstrate the application of our approach, we present a specific example of identifying an anomaly, which in this case is a tomato disease.

2022 Generalized Net Model of the Second Phase of the General Claim Process - First Court Instance
abstract
In the present paper an application of the apparatus of Generalized nets is proposed for modeling the second phase of the general claim process – first court instance. The advantages of using such model are very different, some of them are expressed in helping to detect and eliminate unnecessary complications in the process itself, leading to its simplification and optimization, presenting a complex process simpler and more understandable, for scientific and teaching needs etc.

2022 InterCriteria Analysis of the Financial Data for Selected 8 EU Countries
abstract
In the member countries of the European Union, the activities of their banks are controlled by the supervisory institution of the given country and by the European Central Bank (ECB). This is the so-called Single Supervisory Mechanism. The European Central Bank is an independent institution of the European Council. Every year, the European Central Bank reviews the significance criteria and the institutions that are included, as well as whether there are any new credit institutions that should be monitored. The paper presents an analysis of the results of the significant banks of the 8 EU member countries. In this paper, for the purposes of analysis, an InterCriteria Analysis of the data from the ECB report - Supervisory Banking Statistics for 2020 has been carried out. Interrelationships that may not be visible at first glance are shown, as well as expected interrelationships are confirmed.

2022 InterCriteria Analysis of the Global Competitiveness Report for the Financial System EU Countries
abstract
In recent years, innovative techniques for data analysis and decision-making, resulting from the processing of a large database, have been increasingly used. This trend is part of the management process, for example in the field of finance, where through the application of elements of artificial intelligence, data is processed, processes are analyzed, risk is assessed and intelligent solutions are proposed. In this paper, data from The Global competitiveness report of the World Economic Forum is processed in order to analyze the financial systems of EU Countries. The emphasis is on the data from Pillar 9 - Financial System. It consists of the indicators - Debt and Stability. These in turn include several sub-indicators.The analysis was carried out by applying the Intercriteria Analysis.

2022 A Prototype of Blockchain/Distributed File System Platform
abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a prototype of a platform for data exchange that integrates blockchain and distributed file system technologies. The development phases are defined, an architecture and topology design is suggested, and the main functionalities of the prototype are implemented. Also presented are experiments and results on prototype’s performance and resource usage evaluation. The presented prototype’s functionalities enable upload/download files operations, a monetization protocol, digital rights management for some file formats, testing the performance with different file sizes, testing the decentralized operation mode, performance and resource usage evaluation and activity log reporting. Presented are results of 800 test experiments for the blockchain and distributed file system networks performance, the prototype functionality verification and the estimation of resource usage.

2022 Complex Multivalue Logic with Two Sequentially Connected Logic Structure
abstract
The present work proposes and investigates a method for building a complex multi-valued logic, including two sequentially connected propositional logics: real Lrwith two states T and F, and imaginary Liwith states i and ¬i. The four states are not equivalent to each other. At the same time, the multi-valued logic is not built hierarchically. Imaginary logic is completely superior in truth to real logic. This is achieved by additional constraints between states F and i. Research results have been obtained for the proposed multivalued logic model. It is shown that the three logics - Lr, Liand Lscorrespond to the axioms of the Boolean algebra and the distributive lattice. Some possibilities for the use of these multivalued logics in research and applied fields are pointed out.

2022 An Event-Based Platform Supporting Smart Agriculture Applications
abstract
This article presents a platform supporting development of smart agriculture applications. The platform provides a cyber-physical infrastructure that is able to integrate the physical and virtual worlds. The architecture of the platform is briefly presented. Furthermore, the kernel of platform consisting of personal assistants and an event engine are described in more detail. The interaction between the last two modules are demonstrated by a short example.

2022 DEVS Modeling of an Irrigation System
abstract
This article presents an modelling approach known as DEVS (Discrete Event System Specifications) and its application for modeling of irrigation systems. The DEVS models are saved in a model library that is integrated in a smart agriculture platform called ZEMELA. Furthermore, the application of a DEVS model is demonstrated by a real example.
