| 2013 | Graphene Nanoelectromechanical SystemsabstractGraphene possesses a combination of properties that make it extremely well suited for use in nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS). Its exceptional mechanical properties include high stiffness and low mass, which lead to high resonant frequencies; and ultrahigh strength, which allows for strain tuning of frequency over a wide range. Its optical properties and high electronic mobility enable robust optical and electrical transduction, while its chemical inertness enables atomically thin devices. This paper reviews the basic properties of graphene NEMS, and recent work toward exploring device properties, readout techniques, and applications. Changyao Chen, James C. Hone |

| 2008 | A cooperative browser-level web caching system based on chordabstractIn this paper, we propose a hybrid and cooperative browser-level web caching system based on chord. Each node in this system contacts with each other for web cache sharing. As a result, when a miss occurs in local web cache and web cache server, the request would be sent to a remote node in the chord or its web cache server. So workload of server would decrease and hit ratio would increase through resource sharing between browser 's web caches. Taking both local web cache and web cache server into account, we improve the resource searching algorithm to be distributed and hybrid. Finally, we examine and evaluate the permanence of the system in simulation environment. And results show system can achieve a better hit ratio. Changyao Chen, Xiufen Fu, Peijiang Liu, Baixing Chen |

| 2007 | Research on CSCW-Based Workflow Management System ApplicationabstractWorkflow management system can offer enterprises a method to implement better management. This paper focuses on existing workflow management system bugs in the collaboration, discusses the combinability between workflow management system and CSCW, puts forward a work-strategy in the workflow collaboration and a system reference model, and designs a CSCW-based workflow management system. This system is based on a knowledge library, uses the rules and knowledge in the knowledge library to realize the workflow collaboration. This system also applies in the area of stock so as to effectively solve the problem that in the current stock system the workflows cannot work in the collaboration.
