| 2026 | StyleTailor: Towards Personalized Fashion Styling via Hierarchical Negative FeedbackabstractThe advancement of intelligent agents has revolutionized problem-solving across diverse domains, yet solutions for personalized fashion styling remain underexplored, which holds immense promise for promoting shopping experiences. In this work, we present StyleTailor, the first collaborative agent framework that seamlessly unifies personalized apparel design, shopping recommendation, virtual try-on, and systematic evaluation into a cohesive workflow. To this end, StyleTailor pioneers an iterative visual refinement paradigm driven by multi-level negative feedback, enabling adaptive and precise user alignment. Specifically, our framework features two core agents, i.e., Designer for personalized garment selection and Consultant for virtual try-on, whose outputs are progressively refined via hierarchical vision-language model feedback spanning individual items, complete outfits, and try-on efficacy. Counterexamples are aggregated into negative prompts, forming a closed-loop mechanism that enhances recommendation quality. To assess the performance, we introduce a comprehensive evaluation suite encompassing style consistency, visual quality, face similarity, and artistic appraisal. Extensive experiments demonstrate StyleTailor's superior performance in delivering personalized designs and recommendations, outperforming strong baselines without negative feedback and establishing a new benchmark for intelligent fashion systems. | 2025 | Redefining the task of Bioactivity PredictionabstractSmall molecules are vital to modern medicine, and accurately predicting their bioactivity against protein targets is crucial for therapeutic discovery and development. However, current machine learning models often rely on spurious features, leading to biased outcomes. Notably, a simple pocket-only baseline can achieve results comparable to, and sometimes better than, more complex models that incorporate both the protein pockets and the small molecules. Our analysis reveals that this phenomenon arises from insufficient training data and an improper evaluation process, which is typically conducted at the pocket level rather than the small molecule level. To address these issues, we redefine the bioactivity prediction task by introducing the SIU dataset-a million-scale Structural small molecule-protein Interaction dataset for Unbiased bioactivity prediction task, which is 50 times larger than the widely used PDBbind. The bioactivity labels in SIU are derived from wet experiments and organized by label types, ensuring greater accuracy and comparability. The complexes in SIU are constructed using a majority vote from three commonly used docking software programs, enhancing their reliability. Additionally, the structure of SIU allows for multiple small molecules to be associated with each protein pocket, enabling the redefinition of evaluation metrics like Pearson and Spearman correlations across different small molecules targeting the same protein pocket. Experimental results demonstrate that this new task provides a more challenging and meaningful benchmark for training and evaluating bioactivity prediction models, ultimately offering a more robust assessment of model performance. | 2025 | Empower Structure-Based Molecule Optimization with Gradient Guided Bayesian Flow NetworksabstractStructure-based molecule optimization (SBMO) aims to optimize molecules with both continuous coordinates and discrete types against protein targets.
A promising direction is to exert gradient guidance on generative models given its remarkable success in images, but it is challenging to guide discrete data and risks inconsistencies between modalities.
To this end, we leverage a continuous and differentiable space derived through Bayesian inference, presenting Molecule Joint Optimization (MolJO), the gradient-based SBMO framework that facilitates joint guidance signals across different modalities while preserving SE(3)-equivariance.
We introduce a novel backward correction strategy that optimizes within a sliding window of the past histories, allowing for a seamless trade-off between explore-and-exploit during optimization.
MolJO achieves state-of-the-art performance on CrossDocked2020 benchmark (Success Rate 51.3\%, Vina Dock -9.05 and SA 0.78), more than 4x improvement in Success Rate compared to the gradient-based counterpart, and 2x ``Me-Better'' Ratio as much as 3D baselines.
Furthermore, we extend MolJO to a wide range of optimization settings, including multi-objective optimization and challenging tasks in drug design such as R-group optimization and scaffold hopping, further underscoring its versatility.

| 2025 | Heterogeneous Federated Learning: Client-Side Collaborative Update Interdomain Generalization Method for Intelligent Fault DiagnosisabstractThe federated fault diagnosis approach has achieved remarkable results in recent years, which enables multiple clients with similar mechanical devices to collaboratively construct global intelligent diagnostic models while protecting data privacy. However, in practice, the statistical heterogeneity of data collected from different clients, as well as the model heterogeneity due to local model personalization, pose great challenges to federated learning (FL). Meanwhile, using a central server as an information management center to build global models increases additional model parameters and the risk of data privacy leakage. To address these issues, this article proposes a heterogeneous FL framework based on peer-to-peer communication (P2PCHF) for rotating machinery fault diagnosis. To achieve heterogeneous client communication without relying on a central server, the sharing unlabeled dataset is utilized in the collaborative updating phase to achieve peer-to-peer communication between clients and to align instance dimensions and clustering dimensions between heterogeneous clients by constructing intercorrelation matrices to achieve feature-level and semantic-level knowledge exchange for better interdomain generalization capabilities. Joint knowledge distillation based on class labels and class relations is introduced in the local update phase to mitigate forgetting effect in the local update phase of private models and effectively balance multidomain category knowledge. It is verified in three cases that the proposed P2PCHF can effectively address model heterogeneity and data statistics heterogeneity among clients, and enable locally-privatized models to gain interdomain generalization capability. | 2025 | Federated Domain Generalization for Fault Diagnosis: Cross-Client Style Integration and Dual Alignment RepresentationabstractFederated learning (FL) enables the collaborative training of intelligent diagnostic models across multiple clients while preserving data privacy. However, the complex and dynamic working conditions often cause federated diagnostic models to suffer from performance degradation when applied to unseen clients, exposing deficiencies in model generalization. Domain generalization fault diagnosis methods aim to enhance model adaptability under unknown working conditions, but most existing algorithms rely on shared data, making them unsuitable for direct application in FL environments. To address this challenge, we propose a federated domain generalization fault diagnosis method based on Cross-Client Style Integration and Dual Alignment representation (CCSIDA). This method significantly enhances model generalization in FL settings while ensuring data privacy. Specifically, CCSIDA integrates three key strategies: 1) cross-client style data enhancement; 2) domain-sensitive feature suppression (DSFS); and 3) predictive alignment. For cross-client style integration, we design a stochastic mixed-style sample generation module to overcome the limitations of conventional domain generalization data enhancement methods in FL. This module generates diverse samples by constructing a shared style repository, enabling interclient style information transfer. For cross-client dual alignment representation, we introduce a DSFS strategy to reduce domain discrepancies between original and enhanced samples. Additionally, Jensen-Shannon divergence is employed to ensure prediction consistency between these samples. Finally, extensive experiments on five benchmark datasets validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Xianguang Kong, Jingli Du, Hongbo Ma |
