2023 Examining the effect of different knowledge aspects on information security awareness
abstract
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify the different aspects of knowledge and how they associate with information security awareness (ISA). The paper also explores how ISA differs based on demographic characteristics. Design/methodology/approach Survey data was collected from 609 respondents in Malaysia. Findings The results show that increasing access to informal, multimedia learning mediums, declarative, schematic and strategic knowledge positively impacts an individual's ISA, whereas textual learning medium decreases the ISA. Respondents with different education levels significantly prefer different types of knowledge. Males learn better for ISA with schematic and strategic knowledge compared to females. Practical implications The research provides implications for governments and organizations in designing effective ISA campaigns. Originality/value Studies show that ISA is crucial in improving information systems policy compliance behavior. The literature has examined various topics ranging from the factors influencing the ISA to how ISA impacts information security behavior. However, there is a lack of study on how different aspects of knowledge impact ISA. This study identified various knowledge aspects from the literature and grouped them into the source, type of knowledge, emotion toward knowledge and learning medium.

2008 Innovative Call Routing: Concept and Experimental Observations
abstract
In this paper we explore the service creation process for IMS based applications and investigate how IMS service capabilities such as presence and profile can beused to create application that gives user control and enrich the user experience. The use cases we have selected focus on an application we call Personal Inbound Call Routing (PICR), an inbound call routing service that allows incoming calls to be routed dynamically to the right person, based on individual profiles, presence information and real-time selection by the called party. We present a discussion of our findings and the issues we encountered in implementing this service prototype.

2006 Towards flexible mobile payment via mediator-based service model
abstract
Applications and digital goods for mobile devices have been around for more than a decade. Recent technology development has also driven the use of mobile commerce technology. Mobile commerce is another form of payment but it has the ability to embrace new ideas concerning digital money as mobile device have grown to become an essential personal needs. A range of businesses have already been thinking along these lines and tried to gear their ideas towards using the mobile phone as a payment device with the aim of making life simpler for consumer. Some applications are already driving the use of mobile phone as payment device with the purchase of digital goods such as ring-tones and games but this is just the beginning, as long as the technologies can iron out their differences and formulate a more cohesive technology platform. This paper suggests a mobile web services concept framework solution which allows mobile payment with flexible payment options for mobile consumers.

2006 Framework For Co-browsing On Heterogeneous Devices
abstract
Efficient co-browsing of Web-pages from devices with different capabilities requires users to have a shared understanding of those Web-pages. This paper presents the concept of shared viewpoint (SVP) and personal viewpoint (PVP) for co-browsing before detailing a framework for implementing these concepts. Finally, the effectiveness of the framework is demonstrated through a perceptual experiment

2005 Web-Page Adaptation Framework for PC & Mobile Device Collaboration
abstract
Existing Web-content adaptation engines assume that the task being undertaken is the browsing of the Web-pages by a single-user. There are, however, other tasks that necessitate the viewing of Web-pages on mobile devices. One such task, which forms the motivation for this paper, is mobile Web-based collaboration involving the co-browsing of Web-pages from multiple devices. The paper begins by reviewing the considerations taken into account by existing Web-content adaptation engines in handling the single-user browsing task. Next, the differences between single-user browsing and co-browsing are discussed and a content adaptation framework proposed based on the concept of shared viewpoint and personal viewpoint. Finally, the effectiveness of the framework is demonstrated through a perceptual experiment.
