2025 Immersive and Interactive Learning With eDIVE: A Solution for Creating Collaborative VR Education Experiences
abstract
Abstract Virtual reality (VR) technology has become increasingly popular in education as a tool for enhancing learning experiences and engagement. This paper addresses the lack of a suitable tool for creating multi‐user immersive educational content for virtual environments by introducing a novel solution called eDIVE. The solution is designed to facilitate the development of collaborative immersive educational VR experiences. Developed in close collaboration with psychologists and educators, it addresses specific functional needs identified by these professionals. eDIVE allows creators to extensively modify, expand or develop entirely new VR experiences. eDIVE ultimately makes collaborative VR education more accessible and inclusive for all stakeholders. Its utility is demonstrated through exemplary learning scenarios, developed in collaboration with experienced educators, and evaluated through real‐world user studies.

2024 Towards the Intervention of Dyslexia: a Complex Concept of Dyslexia Intervention System using Eye-Tracking
abstract
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability characterized by difficulties in decoding words and reading, which harms the reading process. A large amount of information is delivered in a text-based form, and therefore stable reading development is crucial. For these reasons, it is necessary to focus on intensive dyslexia intervention based regularly and concerning the individual needs and deficiencies of the dyslexic reader. This paper presents a concept of a comprehensive system for dyslexia intervention based on gaze interactions with a detailed introduction of a paired reading approach. The paper includes a description of this approach, its background, and a proposal for the gaze-based implementation of the paired reading approach. The development of an intervention system based on innovative cognitive models of reading approach would lead to the targeted dyslexia intervention and subsequent development of reading skills for dyslexics whose reading literacy does not meet the standards.
