2025 Multiple Consistency-guided Test-Time Adaptation for Contrastive Audio-Language Models with Unlabeled Audio
abstract
One fascinating aspect of pre-trained Audio-Language Models (ALMs) learning is their impressive zero-shot generalization capability and test-time adaptation (TTA) methods aiming to improve domain performance without annotations. However, previous test time adaptation (TTA) methods for ALMs in zero-shot classification tend to be stuck in incorrect model predictions. In order to further boost the performance, we propose multiple guidance on prompt learning without annotated labels. First, guidance of consistency on both context tokens and domain tokens of ALMs is set. Second, guidance of both consistency across multiple augmented views of each single test sample and contrastive learning across different test samples is set. Third, we propose a corresponding end-end learning framework for the proposed test-time adaptation method without annotated labels. We extensively evaluate our approach on 12 downstream tasks across domains, our proposed adaptation method leads to 4.41% (max 7.50%) average zero-shot performance improvement in comparison with the state-of-the-art models.

2025 Audio-Driven Gesture Generation via Deviation Feature in the Latent Space
abstract
Gestures are essential for enhancing co-speech communication, offering visual emphasis and complementing verbal interactions. While prior work has concentrated on point-level motion or fully supervised data-driven methods, we focus on co-speech gestures, advocating for weakly supervised learning and pixel-level motion deviations. We introduce a weakly supervised framework that learns latent representation deviations, tailored for co-speech gesture video generation. Our approach employs a diffusion model to integrate latent motion features, enabling more precise and nuanced gesture representation. By leveraging weakly supervised deviations in latent space, we effectively generate hand gestures and mouth movements, crucial for realistic video production. Experiments show our method significantly improves video quality, surpassing current state-of-the-art techniques.

2025 DualDub: Video-to-Soundtrack Generation via Joint Speech and Background Audio Synthesis
abstract
While recent video-to-audio (V2A) models can generate realistic background audio from visual input, they largely overlook speech, an essential part of many video soundtracks. This paper proposes a new task, video-to-soundtrack (V2ST) generation, which aims to jointly produce synchronized background audio and speech within a unified framework. To tackle V2ST, we introduce DualDub, a unified framework built on a multimodal language model that integrates a multimodal encoder, a cross-modal aligner, and dual decoding heads for simultaneous background audio and speech generation. Specifically, our proposed cross-modal aligner employs causal and non-causal attention mechanisms to improve synchronization and acoustic harmony. Besides, to handle data scarcity, we design a curriculum learning strategy that progressively builds the multimodal capability. Finally, we introduce DualBench, the first benchmark for V2ST evaluation with a carefully curated test set and comprehensive metrics. Experimental results demonstrate that DualDub achieves state-of-the-art performance, generating high-quality and well-synchronized soundtracks with both speech and background audio. DualBench and generated samples of DualDub are available at https://github.com/wjtian-wonderful/DualBench.
