2022 The Effect of Technology Readiness on Individual Absorptive Capacity Toward Learning Behavior in Australian Universities
abstract
Recipient's absorptive capacity (ACAP) is a barrier to knowledge transfer in organizations. The technology readiness (TR) dimensions measure an individual's technological beliefs and aligns with the individual's ACAP. The purpose of this research is to study if technological beliefs have a causal effect onto individual learning capability and behaviour. University's knowledge transfer makes them an ideal context for this research. Through surveying individuals and conducting statistical analysis, the authors provide empirical evidence that there is a causal effect from the TR dimensions to individuals ACAP and their technological learning behaviour at the individual level. The findings could potentially help leverage technology to address said recipient's ACAP. It would also benefit the development of new technologies, in particular in e-learning and tailoring pedagogy.

2021 Deriving Intellectual Capital Bottom-Line in Professional Service Firms: A High Performance Work Practices Perspective
abstract
The contribution of professional service firms (PSFs) has always been phenomenal in the knowledge economies. Given the ever-increasing focus on achieving knowledge-based trans-formations, the effectiveness of these firms is highly attributed to the knowledge capabilities embedded in their staff and how efficiently they are utilized in firm's optimal benefit. In view of growing services sector, it is vital for these firms to implement high performance work practices (HPWPs) so as to maintain high-quality services and meet competing client needs. However, the systematic implementation of these practices in the intellectual capital (IC) context is not fully developed. Hence, this research suggests a linkage mechanism on how HPWPs support IC development in the professional service firms. By operationalizing these practices as ability-, motivation-, and opportunity-enhancing bundles, the results indicate a positive effect on intellectual capital and the findings offer practical insights to the managers in service firms on building their knowledge capital and deriving competitive advantage.

2021 Social Networking Services and Social Trust in Social Commerce: A PLS-SEM Approach
abstract
This study researches the mediating consequence of social trust (identification-based trust and information-based trust) on the relationship between social networking services (SNS) use and social commerce intention. The study also explores whether and how gender differences impact the use of SNS on endogenous constructs. The proposed research model is empirically examined using a sample of 170 consumers who have had a prior online shopping experience. The statistical analysis employs partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) methods such as PLS algorithm, model assessments, PLS predict, PLS goodness-of-fit, invariance assessment and multi-group analysis, and importance-performance map analysis. The study provides empirical insights into the effects of SNS on social trust towards s-commerce intention. Also, men and woman consumers are found to exhibit different emphases in using SNS to trust the s-commerce.

2019 Uncertainty Avoidance and Consumer Cognitive Innovativeness in E-Commerce
abstract
This article describes how despite the extensive academic interest in e-commerce, an investigation of consumer cognitive innovativeness towards new product purchase intention has been neglected. Based on the stimulus–organism–response (S–O–R) model, this study investigates the consumer cognitive innovativeness and the moderating role of the individual consumer-level uncertainty avoidance cultural value towards new product purchase intention in business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce. Structural equation modelling, such as partial least squares (PLS) path modelling was used to test the model, using a sample of 255 participants in Australia who have had prior online shopping experience. The findings show that the online store web atmosphere influences consumers' cognitive innovativeness to purchase new products in countries with diverse degrees of uncertainty avoidance such as Australia. The results provide some guidance for a B2C website design based on how individual's uncertainty avoidance and cognitive innovativeness can aid the online consumer purchasing decision-making process.

2018 SaaS E-Commerce Platforms Web Accessibility Evaluation
abstract
Web accessibility related to cloud computing is more concerned at the application level where a human interacts with an application via a user interface. Although previous research has identified web accessibility influences on website effectiveness, the evaluation of the relative importance of web accessibility on software-as-a-service (SaaS) e-commerce platform has not been empirically determined. This study evaluates the web accessibility of SaaS e-commerce platform websites. The web accessibility features from the cloud accessibility taxonomy framework were evaluated for people with disabilities such as sensory (hearing and vision), motor (limited use of hands) and cognitive (language and learning disabilities) impairments. We conducted an expert evaluation using Fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). The results show Shopify cloud-based e-commerce platform has a high number of web accessibility features from the proposed cloud accessibility framework followed by 3dCart, BigCommerce, Volusion, and WooCommerce.

2017 Decision making on adoption of cloud computing in e-commerce using fuzzy TOPSIS
abstract
Cloud computing promises enhanced scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency. In practice, however, there are many uncertainties about the usage of cloud computing resources in the e-commerce context. As e-commerce is dependent on a reliable and secure online store, it is important for decision makers to adopt an optimal cloud computing mode (Such as SaaS, PaaS and IaaS). This study assesses the factors associated with cloud-based e-commerce based on TOE (technological, organizational, and environmental) framework using multi-criteria decision-making technique (Fuzzy TOPSIS). The results show that Fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) approach proposes software-as-a-service (SaaS) as the best choice for e-commerce business.
