2020 Parallel and Regular Algorithm of Elliptic Curve Scalar Multiplication over Binary Fields
abstract
Accelerating scalar multiplication has always been a significant topic when people talk about the elliptic curve cryptosystem. Many approaches have been come up with to achieve this aim. An interesting perspective is that computers nowadays usually have multicore processors which could be used to do cryptographic computations in parallel style. Inspired by this idea, we present a new parallel and efficient algorithm to speed up scalar multiplication. First, we introduce a new regular halve-and-add method which is very efficient by utilizing λ projective coordinate. Then, we compare many different algorithms calculating double-and-add and halve-and-add. Finally, we combine the best double-and-add and halve-and-add methods to get a new faster parallel algorithm which costs around 12.0% less than the previous best. Furthermore, our algorithm is regular without any dummy operations, so it naturally provides protection against simple side-channel attacks.

2019 (Identity-based) dual receiver encryption from lattice-based programmable hash functions with high min-entropy
abstract
Dual receiver encryption (DRE) is an important cryptographic primitive introduced by Diament et al. at CCS’04, which allows two independent receivers to decrypt a same ciphertext to obtain the same plaintext. This primitive is quite useful in designing combined public key cryptosystems and denial of service attack-resilient protocols. In this paper, we obtain some results as follows. Using weak lattice-based programmable hash functions (wLPHF) with high min-entropy (Crypto’16), we give a generic IND-CCA secure DRE construction in the standard model. Furthermore, we get a concrete DRE scheme by instantiating a concrete wLPHF with high min-entropy. For DRE notion in the identity-based setting, identity-based DRE (IB-DRE), basing on lattice-based programmable hash functions (LPHF) with high min-entropy, we give a framework of IND-ID-CPA secure IB-DRE construction in the standard model. When instantiating with concrete LPHFs with high min-entropy, we obtain five concrete IB-DRE schemes.

2019 Deterministic Identity-Based Encryption from Lattice-Based Programmable Hash Functions with High Min-Entropy
abstract
There only exists one deterministic identity-based encryption (DIBE) scheme which is adaptively secure in the auxiliary-input setting, under the learning with errors (LWE) assumption. However, the master public key consists of O(λ) basic matrices. In this paper, we consider to construct adaptively secure DIBE schemes with more compact public parameters from the LWE problem. (i) On the one hand, we gave a generic DIBE construction from lattice-based programmable hash functions with high min-entropy. (ii) On the other hand, when instantiating our generic DIBE construction with four LPHFs with high min-entropy, we can get four adaptively secure DIBE schemes with more compact public parameters. In one of our DIBE schemes, the master public key only consists of ω(log⁡λ) basic matrices.

2016 (Deterministic) Hierarchical Identity-based Encryption from Learning with Rounding over Small Modulus
abstract
In this paper, we propose a hierarchical identity-based encryption (HIBE) scheme in the random oracle (RO) model based on the learning with rounding (LWR) problem over small modulus $q$. Compared with the previous HIBE schemes based on the learning with errors (LWE) problem, the ciphertext expansion ratio of our scheme can be decreased to 1/2. Then, we utilize the HIBE scheme to construct a deterministic hierarchical identity-based encryption (D-HIBE) scheme based on the LWR problem over small modulus. Finally, with the technique of binary tree encryption (BTE) we can construct HIBE and D-HIBE schemes in the standard model based on the LWR problem over small modulus.

2015 Complementary witness soundness for witness indistinguishable proof system and CCA2 public-key encryption schemes
abstract
We introduce the notion of complementary-witness-soundness for a witness indistinguishable proof system. We then present a new general framework for public key encryption schemes, denoted as CWSWI-type encryption, based on a complementary-witness-sound witness indistinguishable (CWSWI) proof system. The construction of a CWSWI-type encryption scheme is relatively straightforward, while the security thereof against adaptive chosen ciphertext attack (denoted CCA2) can be rigorously proven. Many existing CCA2 public key encryption schemes can be interpreted as being of CWSWI-type, including the schemes of Lindell, Cramer-Shoup and Peikert-Waters. Thus, our CWSWI approach provides a novel means for designing and analysing CCA2 secure public key encryption schemes.
