2025 A secured reversible data hiding technique using interpolation image based on multiple hidden data encryption
abstract
The research introduces a new reversible data hiding (RDH) technique using image interpolation, which enhances visual quality and embedding capacity while ensuring robust security and minimal distortion. The encryption phase segmented secret messages into different lengths and encoded them into code pairs before embedding them within the cover image. This method outperforms similar interpolation RDH algorithms, offering low computing costs and improved security.

2009 An Effective Lossless Hiding Technique Based on Reversible Contrast Mapping and Histogram Embedding Methods
abstract
Lossless data hiding is a technique that used to embed secret message into media for generating the stego image. The receiver who obtains the stego image can extract the secret message from it and restore the original media via the extraction and recovery image algorithms. Coltuc and Chassery combined look-up table and reversible contrast mapping technique to generate a very fast watermarking embedding scheme in 2007. Their scheme is simple and the hiding capacity is high. In addition, the image quality of the stego image generated by their scheme is fine. However, in their method, absolute difference is used to control image distortion. If the value of the absolute difference is low, then the hiding capacity will be limited and decreased. Therefore, we apply the histogram technique to improve Coltuc and Chassery's scheme. The experimental results show that the image quality of the proposed scheme is better than that of Coltuc and Chassery's scheme.

2009 An Information-Hiding Scheme Based on Quantization-Based Embedding Technique
abstract
Information hiding is a technique that embeds secret data in digital media for using in a variety of applications, including ownership protection, authentication, access control, annotation and so on. In this paper, we propose an information hiding scheme based on quantization-based embedding technique to conceal information in gray-scale image. The proposed scheme was tested with a variety of gray images. According to the experimental results, hidden information can be extracted correctly and quickly from the stego image. In addition, the stego image has only a little distortion compared with the cover image. The proposed scheme can not only hide a large amount of information in the cover image, but can also repair the stego image such that the repaired image is almost the same as the cover image.

2004 Bandwidth Efficiency of an Image Compression Method for Information Hiding
abstract
In order to improve the compression rate of vector quantization (VQ) during compression, a re-encoding scheme, called spiral scan re-encoding (SSR), was designed to compact the indices in VQ. Based on the SSR scheme, we propose a novel lossless hiding scheme, called IHSSR. When the scheme is used, information is hidden in the compression code for increasing the bandwidth efficiency of the compressed code. The IHSSR system was developed to test the performance of the IHSSR scheme. According to the experimental results, the IHSSR system can efficiently hide secret information in the compression code of indices without modifying its content. The decoding process can obtain the hidden secret information and the indices. Only a small number of extra bits are needed to record the corresponding information.
