1995 Adaptive co-channel interference suppression in mobile communications satellite systems
abstract
A new adaptive approach is proposed for co-channel interference cancellation in the uplink of the future mobile communications satellite systems employing multiple co-channel beams. The approach requires no reference signals and is applicable to both phased array and multiple beam antennas. A modular cascade structure is also developed for its implementations. Its performance is demonstrated by computer simulations.

1980 Commutativity and Application of Digital Interpolation Filters and Modulators
abstract
Interpolation filters are being widely used in a variety of communication applications. An equivalent realization of an interpolation FIR filter is shown to be a cascade combination of a hold and a periodically varying filter. It is also shown that the periodicity of the filter results in the Commutativity of the filter and a sinusoidal modulator. An application of such a scheme to TDM-FDM transmultiplexer is also presented.
