2022 Computational Linear Algebra to identify potential students with ADHD: pairing data compression and K-means
abstract
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) causes several difficulties that can lead to academic failure. We aim to use information technology to improve the performance of these students. Our first step is to assist the teacher in identifying ADHD students in the classroom, which is the object of this work. We will use linear algebra techniques to achieve the objective: data compression and k-means. Data analysis is done manually and is based on the theoretical framework. We got the necessary information by compressing it into one level, using two clusters to identify a binary response, making the information faster and visually accessible.

2021 The use of games as an educational aid to students with ADHD: a framework proposal
abstract
Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity (ADHD) leads to various learning difficulties that generate academic failures. Students with this disorder have problems in the traditional education model due to their symptoms, such as excessive agitation and lack of attention. This article proposes the Framework Digital Path to provide a teaching structure with a method that contains a game associated with a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to improve education for children who have ADHD. The Digital Path rises from the needs of people with ADHD traced in the literature review, given the current teaching practices and an actual game. The paper presents a theoretical/bibliographic analysis used to construct a framework specialized in ADHD.

1996 Packaging reusable components using patterns and hypermedia
abstract
Reuse is the key paradigm for increasing productivity and quality in large-scale software development. To become systematic, reuse needs supporting tools, and among these are the packaging tools. To reuse a complex component, it is necessary to understand its objectives, its architecture and how to use it. Therefore, a reusable component should be packaged with all the documentation necessary to enhance its comprehension and use. Hypermedia can help in making the documentation of a component more attractive. The technology of patterns-describing a problem, its solution and the context within which it works-can structure the data for packaging the component. This paper describes an architecture of a packaging tool for reusable components based on hypermedia and patterns technologies.
