| 2026 | Dual Data-centric Separation with Circular Mixup for Noise-resistant Time Series LearningabstractDeep neural networks (DNNs) have achieved extensive progress in time series learning. However, they could suffer from performance degradation when it comes to label noise in the real world. Towards this end, this paper studies an underexplored yet realistic problem of noise-resistant time series learning and proposes a novel data-centric approach named Dual Data-centric Separation with Circular Mixup (DREAM) for this problem. The core of our DREAM is to explore and exploit the noisy data from dual data-centric views for reduced overfitting. On the one hand, we assume that samples with similar features share similar labels and infer the pseudo label of each sample using its affinity graph to capture the corresponding pseudo margin. On the other hand, we monitor the optimization status by simulating the mislabeled data to generate flexible criteria for accurate separation of clean and noisy samples. In addition, we leverage circular Mixup to interpolate between clean and noisy samples in the embedding space. These mixed samples are incorporated into a discrepancy-aware consistency learning framework to ensure robust time series representations of all the separated samples. Experimental results on a wide range of publicly accessible datasets reveal the effectiveness of our DREAM. | 2026 | DisCo: Diffusion-guided Unbiased Discriminative Learning for Unsupervised Graph Domain AdaptationabstractThis paper investigates the task of unsupervised graph domain adaptation, which facilitates the transfer of knowledge from labeled source graphs to unlabeled target graphs. Recent approaches usually utilize graph contrastive learning and pseudo-labeling to learn from unlabeled target data, which could introduce potential biased representations and supervision of target graphs resulting from serious shifts across two domains. Towards this end, we propose a novel framework named Diffusion-guided Unbiased Discriminative Learning (DisCo) for unsupervised graph domain adaptation. The core of our DisCo is to leverage both feature disentanglement and cross-domain diffusion signals to remove the potential biases for target graphs. In particular, we first utilize adversarial feature disentanglement to extract causal features that are orthogonal to domain biases. More importantly, we retrieve the labels of cross-domain source graphs to generate the conditions, which would be utilized to optimize a diffusion model for label denoising. The consistency between pseudo-labels and denoised labels is measured to reduce the potential biases during domain alignment. Extensive experiments on several real-world benchmarks demonstrate that our proposed DisCo consistently outperforms competing state-of-the-art baselines. | 2026 | Neural Quadrature Rule and Autoregressive Adaptive SamplingabstractMonte Carlo integration is widely used in computer graphics, especially in rendering, but we identify two key limitations. First, for each sample, we can often obtain rich auxiliary information, such as sample position, or geometric information. However, a classical Monte Carlo estimator cannot effectively use this information and only averages the function values. Second, the Monte Carlo formulation makes it difficult to adapt the sampling distribution toward truly informative regions, which can be critical for reconstructing the signal. To address these limitations, we argue that a sampler and integrator beyond the standard Monte Carlo methods is needed. We therefore propose an end-to-end sampling-integration approach that jointly learns both a sampler and an integrator using neural networks, enabling samples to be drawn and used in a more coupled and principled manner. By training on a dataset of integrands, the estimator can further use learned priors over integrand structure and specialize to a family of problems. We evaluate our method on diverse applications in lighting, transmittance, generalized winding number, and walk-on-spheres, spanning both linear and nonlinear cases, and a broad range of low- and high-dimensional settings. Even though the networks add computational overheads, in the equal-sample setting, our method achieves substantial improvements, providing a powerful alternative to traditional quadrature rules and sampling methods. | 2025 | HotSpot: Signed Distance Function Optimization with an Asymptotically Sufficient ConditionabstractWe propose a method, HOTSPOT, for optimizing neural signed distance functions. Existing losses, such as the eikonal loss, act as necessary but insufficient constraints and cannot guarantee that the recovered implicit function represents a true distance function, even if the output minimizes these losses almost everywhere. Furthermore, the eikonal loss suffers from stability issues in optimization. Finally, in conventional methods, regularization losses that penalize surface area distort the reconstructed signed distance function. We address these challenges by designing a loss function using the solution of a screened Poisson equation. Our loss, when minimized, provides an asymptotically sufficient condition to ensure the output converges to a true distance function. Our loss also leads to stable optimization and naturally penalizes large surface areas. We present theoretical analysis and experiments on both challenging 2D and 3D datasets and show that our method provides better surface reconstruction and a more accurate distance approximation. | 2023 | DPS-Net: Deep Polarimetric Stereo Depth EstimationabstractStereo depth estimation usually struggles to deal with textureless scenes for both traditional and learning-based methods due to the inherent dependence on image correspondence matching. In this paper, we propose a novel neural network, i.e., DPS-Net, to exploit both the prior geometric knowledge and polarimetric information for depth estimation with two polarimetric stereo images. Specifically, we construct both RGB and polarization correlation volumes to fully leverage the multi-domain similarity between polarimetric stereo images. Since inherent ambiguities exist in the polarization images, we introduce the iso-depth cost explicitly into the network to solve these ambiguities. Moreover, we design a cascaded dual-GRU architecture to recurrently update the disparity and effectively fuse both the multi-domain correlation features and the iso-depth cost. Besides, we present new synthetic and real polarimetric stereo datasets for evaluation. Experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art stereo depth estimation methods.
