The purpose of this paper is to propose a research model to investigate the relationships between dynamic capabilities, business model innovation, and business performance. The moderating role of digital transformation in the research model is also examined. A total of 262 managers in Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) were enrolled via an online questionnaire. Data is scrutinized by partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3.0. The findings of this study reveal that dynamic capabilities can positively affect business model innovation and business performance. Furthermore, business model innovation partially mediates the relationship between dynamic capabilities and business performance. Meanwhile, digital transformation has a positive moderating role in the aforementioned relationships. These findings bridge the research gaps in extant literature and contribute to theoretical and practical implications for SMEs.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationships between digitalization, supply chain integration, and firm performance. Data are analyzed by the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results revealed that both digitalization in the supply chain and supply chain external integration positively affected company performance. Further, supply chain external integration partially mediated the relationship between supply chain digitalization and firm performance. In addition, it was found that financial performance is enhanced through different paths for large enterprises and SMEs. Large enterprises improve financial performance through supply chain integration after efforts spent on the digitalization of their supply chain, while SMEs improve financial performance directly through supply chain digitalization. These findings provide insights for managers and policymakers of large enterprises and SMEs in formulating appropriate implementation strategies for digital transformation.

Drawing on the conservation of resources (COR) theory, the authors investigate whether and how social support impacts the emotional labor of live streamers through professional identity. They also explore the boundary conditions by focusing on the moderation effect of emotional intelligence. Based on a sample of 331 live streamers in the content industry, the results show that social support weakens (enhances) live streamers' surface acting (deep acting) by enhancing their professional identity. Emotional intelligence significantly moderates the professional identity-emotional labor relationship. In addition, they find that emotional intelligence strengthens the negative indirect effect of social support on surface acting through professional identity but weakens the positive indirect effect of social support and deep acting through professional identity. They also discuss theoretical contribution in emotional labor literature and practical implications for live commerce.
