2025 Current Dynamics and Future Growth of Online Travel Agencies
abstract
Although the literature on online travel agencies is growing, it is fragmented and incoherent. Hence, this review aims to synthesize the online travel agencies and suggest directions for future research on online travel agencies. The review adopted an integrative literature review method by undertaking a review of sixty-nine empirical studies following rigorous protocols. The review presents the research profile, key research themes, gaps, and limitations of the prior literature. Furthermore, the directions of future research as well as the development of a comprehensive research framework, are also presented. There were five major research themes identified based on prior studies. The study findings will facilitate the scholars and practitioners to contemplate the diverse aspects of the online travel agencies ecosystem, contexts of contemporary research and the methodological progressions for future work. The study provides crucial implications, including integrations of online and offline channels, internet word-of-mouth applications and stakeholder identifications.

2023 Lights, Camera, Metaverse!: Eliciting Intention to Use Industrial Metaverse, Organizational Agility, and Firm Performance
abstract
This study investigates organizations' intention to use the industrial metaverse. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) is used as an underpinning theory to examine the impact of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitation condition on the intention to use the industrial metaverse. The results of this study reveal that performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions significantly influence the intention to use the industrial metaverse. Moreover, the intention to use the industrial metaverse significantly influences organizational agility and firm performance. Further, the results of moderation hypotheses indicate that the impact of both performance expectancy and social influence on intention to use the industrial metaverse varies at high and low levels of firm innovativeness. The study's findings will enrich the metaverse literature. Further, it provides a deeper understanding of industrial metaverse adoption from a B2B perspective using the underpinnings of UTAUT. The study helps organizations understand the enablers of industrial metaverse usage intention.

2022 Impact of Mobile Banking Application Interactivity on Consumer Engagement: An Experiment-Based Investigation
abstract
The study aims to examine the impact of mobile banking (m-banking) application interactivity on consumer engagement. The study also analyses the moderation effects of perceived security concerns, consumer innovativeness, and consumer involvement. The study employed a 2 (interactivity: high versus low) × 2 (perceived security concern: high versus low) × 2 (consumer innovativeness: high versus low) x 2 (consumer involvement: high versus low) between-subjects experimental design among 376 Indian mobile banking users. The results indicate that interactivity positively impacts consumer engagement in m-banking applications. The results also show the significant moderating effects of perceived security concerns, consumer innovativeness, and consumer involvement. The findings of the study enrich the online engagement literature by examining the impact of interactivity on consumer engagement in the m-banking context. The results of the study will help banks in enhancing their m-banking application interactivity to enhance consumer engagement.

2021 How Does Online Engagement Drive Consumers' Webrooming Intention?: A Moderated-Mediation Approach
abstract
Based on the cognitive-motivational-relational (CMR) theory, this study empirically investigates the mechanisms through which consumers' online engagement impacts their channel switching intention. The present study examines the mediating effects of perceived value and the ways in which these mediating effects are moderated by online risk perception. Data were collected from 428 online Indian consumers using systematic random sampling. The results of the structural and process macro analyses indicated that consumer online engagement has a significant impact on consumer online search benefits which in turn leads to webrooming intention. Also, perceived value mediated the effects of online search benefits and offline purchase benefits on webrooming intention. The results advance the theory of CMR by explaining consumer channel switching behaviour and are expected to help multi-channel retailers to identify the key drivers that help engage consumers online.
