2026 What Drives Users' Removal Behavior of Mobile Apps
abstract
The study examines the determinants of users’ removal behavior of mobile apps from an integrated perspective of the theory of reasoned action, innovation diffusion theory, technology acceptance model, and perceived risks. The data collected from a sample of 275 valid respondents were used to validate the research model and hypotheses using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that compatibility and perceived ease of use significantly affect removal attitude; removal attitude and performance risk significantly affect removal intention, and removal intention significantly affects removal behavior. This study is a pioneering effort to investigate the determinants of users’ removal behavior of mobile apps. The findings of this study provide several important theoretical and practical implications for how to promote users’ continuous mobile app usage.

2025 What Drives People's Cryptocurrency Investment Behavior
abstract
By integrating the Self-Determination Theory and individual difference perspectives, this study examines how individual differences (i.e.locus of control, self-efficacy, and risk preference) influence behavioral intention to invest cryptocurrency through the mediation of the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations.Data collected from a sample of 305 valid responses are used to examine the research model and test the hypotheses with the employment of partial least squares structural equation modeling. The findings reveal that locus of control and self-efficacy significantly influence both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations to invest in cryptocurrencies. However, risk preference significantly impacts only extrinsic motivation. Both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations markedly influence the behavioral intention to invest in cryptocurrencies. The findings of this study provide several important theoretical and practical implications for understanding online cryptocurrency investment behaviors.

2024 Developing and Validating a Live Streaming Social Commerce Success Model
abstract
The study was designed to explore the determinants affecting consumer online repurchase intention in the context of live-streaming social commerce. A live streaming social commerce success model was developed and verified empirically using data gathered from an anonymous online survey completed by 202 individuals with experience participating in live streaming social-commerce events on the Facebook Live platform. Based on the results, online repurchase intention was predicted directly by post-consumption positive electronic word‐of‐mouth (eWOM) and customer satisfaction. Moreover, customer satisfaction and perceived value were found to influence online repurchase intention through post-consumption positive eWOM generation. Finally, product quality, comparative price, and perceived entertainment were found to be the primary factors driving customer satisfaction, while product quality and perceived competitive price were found to be predictors of perceived value.

2015 Permission-Based E-Mail Marketing Websites Success: An Integrated Perspective
abstract
Extant research on websites success has paid insufficient attention to the success of permission-based e-mail marketing (PEM) websites. In order to bridge this knowledge gap, the contribution of this study lies in synthesizing information management/e-commerce, media/communication, as well as customer/marketing research to propose a PEM websites success model consisting of antecedent (i.e., functional, process, and relational benefits), mediator (i.e., relationship quality), and outcome variables (i.e., relationship outcomes). Data collected from 294 respondents in Taiwan were tested against the research model using structural equation modeling. The result shows that functional and process benefits (i.e., information quality, ease of use, and entertainment benefits) except entertainment benefits can indirectly influence relationship outcomes (i.e., user loyalty and positive word of mouth) through the mediation of relationship quality (i.e., user satisfaction and commitment). The result also indicates that relational benefits (i.e., confidence, social, and special treatment benefits) can not affect relationship outcomes directly or indirectly through relationship quality. It concludes that, unlike the brick-and-mortar context, relational benefits emphasized by customer/marketing research do not play a significant role in influencing relationship outcomes in the context of PEM websites. Rather, the empirically validated model highlights the importance of functional and process benefits in establishing PEM websites success, supporting the perspectives from information management/e-commerce research as well as media/communication research.

2008 A Model of Intraorganizational Knowledge Sharing: Development and Initial Test
abstract
Prior research has reported different knowledge management processes, considering each universally applicable. This article proposes that context influences company knowledge sharing policies and practices and their effectiveness. Through a literature review, a model of intraorganizational knowledge sharing is proposed. Within this model, three organizational antecedents of knowledge sharing policies and practices are included, namely: top management knowledge values, an innovation business strategy, and perceived environmental uncertainty. Further, top management knowledge values and knowledge sharing policies and practices are hypothesized to lead to knowledge sharing effectiveness. The model was constructed by taking into account industrial contexts in Taiwan, and was examined using survey data collected from companies in Taiwan. The results showed that top management knowledge values and innovation business strategy are positively and significantly associated with knowledge sharing policies and practices, which in turn lead to knowledge sharing effectiveness. Finally, this article identifies and discusses implications for international information management.
