2021 ERP Vendor Satisfaction: From Communication and IT Capability Perspectives
abstract
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems play a critical role in supporting a firm’s operations. Due to this reliance, a firm interacts with both the ERP solution provider and the ERP vendor as both support and maintain this complex system. This study investigates the impact of relationship interactions and a firm’s information systems (IS) technical competence on a firm’s satisfaction with the ERP vendor. To this end, this paper develops and verifies a model in which a firm’s past interactions and internal IS technical abilities serve as the antecedents of the firm’s satisfaction with its ERP system and ERP vendor. Empirical data collected from a sample of 168 firms were analyzed. The results suggest a firm’s perception of vendor conflict handling, and trust in the ERP vendor do positively influence the firm’s satisfaction with the ERP vendor. IS technical competence and strategic role of IS have a positive impact on a firm’s successful experience with the ERP system which ultimately leads to satisfaction perceptions.

2021 CEO Exposure, Media Influence, and Stock Returns
abstract
Media-aware stock movements are well acknowledged by the behavioral finance. As the soul of a firm, CEO’s media behavior is critical to the operation of a firm. CEO’s exposure could have captured the investors’ attention and enhanced the media effect in the stock market in terms of the “eyeball economics”, or CEO’s overexposure could have attracted more attention than firm-specific news, which attenuate the media effect in the stock market due to the investors’ limited attention. This study systematically explores the role and the moderating effect of CEO’s media behavior on the relationship between media content and stock markets. Using daily frequency data for a sample of Chinese stocks, this study shows that higher CEO media exposure attenuates the media effect on stock markets, especially consumer-related stocks.

2019 Aligning 4C Strategy with Social Network Applications for CRM Performance
abstract
This article describes how in recent years, enterprises have increasingly adopted social technologies to support customer relationship management (CRM) practices. To increase CRM performance, enterprises have had to develop appropriate social CRM strategies in emerging social network applications. This article investigates the alignment between social network applications and the “4C strategy” as a social CRM strategy in organizations. It intends to understand how alignment influences CRM performance. A total of 225 Taiwanese companies, which have adopted Facebook to interact with customers, were surveyed. According to the results, alignment between the 4C strategy and social network applications has a positive and significant impact on CRM performance. The results also suggest that organizations require a high-level integration of social network applications with the 4C strategy to achieve high CRM performance.

2018 Web Media and Stock Markets : A Survey and Future Directions from a Big Data Perspective
abstract
Stock market volatility is influenced by information release, dissemination, and public acceptance. With the increasing volume and speed of social media, the effects of Web information on stock markets are becoming increasingly salient. However, studies of the effects of Web media on stock markets lack both depth and breadth due to the challenges in automatically acquiring and analyzing massive amounts of relevant information. In this study, we systematically reviewed 229 research articles on quantifying the interplay between Web media and stock markets from the fields of Finance, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science. In particular, we first categorized the representative works in terms of media type and then summarized the core techniques for converting textual information into machine-friendly forms. Finally, we compared the analysis models used to capture the hidden relationships between Web media and stock movements. Our goal is to clarify current cutting-edge research and its possible future directions to fully understand the mechanisms of Web information percolation and its impact on stock markets from the perspectives of investors cognitive behaviors, corporate governance, and stock market regulation.

2015 Impacts of Comprehensive Information Security Programs on Information Security Culture
abstract
A large number of security breaches involve internal employee negligence and insider breach. This situation, coupled with the need to comply with regulatory mandates has led to the establishment of comprehensive information security programs in many organizations. However, the relationships between comprehensive information security programs and security culture are unclear. This research thus proposes a research model to evaluate the influences of key components of comprehensive information security programs on security culture and empirically tests it. The results indicate that SETA programs awareness has significant influences on security culture and on employees' awareness of organizational security policy, and that the awareness of security monitoring also impacts security culture. The proposed research model can be used as a benchmark to evaluate the effectiveness of comprehensive information security programs, to improve the design of such programs should gaps exist, and eventually assist in building a security culture.
