| 2025 | Demo: AeroRelief: UAV-based Emergency Rescue for Time-Critical MissionsabstractWe present AeroRelief, an autonomous UAV first-responder system for rapid delivery of critical medical supplies in hard-to-reach areas. Integrating AI-assisted dispatch, real-time path planning, and a winch-based payload mechanism, AeroRelief responds swiftly to emergencies with minimal human intervention. The system uses a long-range LoRa command link for robust communication and delivers supplies mid-air without landing. Our demonstration showcases the complete workflow—from emergency identification to UAV deployment—highlighting AeroRelief's potential to accelerate rescue missions and enhance survival outcomes in remote settings.
