2026 Failure Localization in Multi-Agent Code Generation via Knowledge-Guided and Transferable Reasoning
abstract
Recent advances in multi-agent Large Language Model-based code generation enable collaborative software development through role-specialized agents. However, failure localization of code generation remains challenging due to inter-agent dependencies and solution-path multiplicity. Consequently, existing prompting-based localization methods exhibit vulnerability towards semantically valid but non-canonical strategies. To address this, we propose FLKR (Failure Localization via Knowledge-guided Reasoning), an self-supervised framework that combines behavior encoding, knowledge-strategy alignment, and consistency scoring for solution-path invariant localization. To evaluate, we also introduce COFL (Code Oriented Failure Localization), the first expert-annotated benchmark for fine-grained failure localization. Experiments show FLKR outperforms state-of-the-art prompting-based baselines by up to 14 points in Fault Localization Accuracy and 45 points in Top-1 accuracy, with strong performance in divergent, real-world, and refinement-critical cases. Such results demonstrate that our proposed FLKR generalizes well to real-world software development scenarios and opens up a new direction for failure-aware refinement recommendation by providing precise and interpretable responsibility signals.

2017 Interactive WCET Prediction with Warning for Timeout Risk
abstract
Worst case execution time (WCET) analysis is essential for exposing timeliness defects when developing hard real-time systems. However, it is too late to fix timeliness defects cheaply since developers generally perform WCET analysis in a final verification phase. To help developers quickly identify real timeliness defects in an early programming phase, a novel interactive WCET prediction with warning for timeout risk is proposed. The novelty is that the approach not only fast estimates WCET based on a control flow tree (CFT), but also assesses the estimated WCET with a trusted level by a lightweight false path analysis. According to the trusted levels, corresponding warnings will be triggered once the estimated WCET exceeds a preset safe threshold. Hence developers can identify real timeliness defects more timely and efficiently. To this end, we first analyze the reasons of the overestimation of CFT-based WCET calculation; then we propose a trusted level model of timeout risks; for recognizing the structural patterns of timeout risks, we develop a risk data counting algorithm; and we also give some tactics for applying our approach more effectively. Experimental results show that our approach has almost the same running speed compared with the fast and interactive WCET analysis, but it saves more time in identifying real timeliness defects.

2015 A term weighting scheme based on the measure of relevance and distinction for text categorization
abstract
Feature selection is often considered as a key step in text categorization. In this paper, we proposed a new feature selection algorithm, named AD, which comprehensively measures the degree of relevance and distinction of terms occur in document set. We evaluated AD on three benchmark document collections, 20-Newsgroups, Reuters-21578 and WebKB, using two classification algorithms, Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machines. The experimental results, comparing AD with six classic feature-selection algorithms, show that the proposed method AD is significantly superior to Information Gain, Mutual Information, Odds Ratio, DIA association factor, Orthogonal Centroid Feature Selection and Ambiguity Measure when Naive Bayes classifier is used and significantly outperforms IG,MI,OR,DIA,OCFS and AM when Support Vector Machines is used.

2014 Feature selection method based on crossed centroid for text categorization
abstract
The most important characteristic of text categorization is the high dimensionality even for the moderate size dataset. Feature selection, which can reduce the size of the dimensionality without sacrificing the performance of the categorization and avoid over-fitting, is a commonly used approach in dimensionality reduction. In this paper, we proposed a new feature selection, which evaluates the deviation from the centroid based on both inter-category and intra-category. We compared the proposed method with four well-known feature selection algorithms using support vector machines on three benchmark datasets (20-newgroups, reuters-21578 and webkb). The experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the performance of the classifier.
