Conflicts of interest 9,995

A conflict is a submission and a pool member who must not handle it. The assignment never makes such a pair, for reviewers and for area chairs, whatever the other options; a lock does not override it.

Upload conflicts

One row per conflict: the submission's sub_id and the pool member's rev_id, or their email when you do not have the id; an optional reason. CSV or JSON. An upload replaces the conflicts uploaded before and leaves the others.

Template ↓ conflicts_template.csv needs sub_id, rev_id or email · optional reason

Find authorship conflicts

Compares the 304 submissions' authors with the 400 pool members: the same person (by name or email address) is an author conflict, somebody who has written a paper with an author, according to the pool members' publication lists, a co-author conflict. Run it again after the submissions or the pool change.

The Assignment page has a further option, no reviewer who co-authored with an author, which also uses the expert database's authorship records for pool members linked to it (switched on for this venue).

Add one conflict

For a single pair. On a paper's page the COI button next to a reviewer does the same.
