1983 Optimal point process estimators of Gaussian optical field intensities
abstract
Stochastic equations of evolution are given for the intensity of a Gaussian optical field, the posterior conditional probability density for the field intensity based on observations of a doubly stochastic Poisson counting process, and approximately minimum mean-square error estimates of the field intensity.
