2023 A GRU and chaos-based novel image encryption approach for transport images
abstract
An Intelligent Transport System (ITS) uses smart devices to capture the traffic data in the form of images. However, the adversary can steal and misuse this traffic information. Hence, it becomes essential to have an efficient encryption strategy to save data from various types of attacks. This paper proposes a novel encryption algorithm that uses the Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) and Sine-Cosine chaotic map to encrypt transport images. The encryption scheme is divided into three phases. In the first phase, two intermediate keys and the seed value required for creating chaotic sequence are generated using unique combinations of 128-bit share key and 128-bit initial vector. In the second phase, permutation is performed using one of the intermediate keys and the chaotic sequence generated by the novel Sine-Cosine chaotic map. The final phase performs the diffusion process using the other intermediate key and GRU approach that uses the chaotic sequence generated by the Sine-Cosine map. The performance of the proposed encryption approach is analyzed using various standard encryption metrics, attacks and decryption parameters. The obtained results and comparative results with existing approaches reveal that the proposed method is suitable for implementing secure and efficient transport image cryptosystems.

2021 Novel pseudo random key & cosine transformed chaotic maps based satellite image encryption
abstract
Image encryption converts the images into unrecognizable forms that seems like a white noise. Digital Chaos has also emerged as one of the important technique to design secure and efficient image encryption schemes. The chaos theory possesses various desirable properties required for the encrypting images like initial state sensitivity, unpredictability and behavioural complexity. However, image encryption schemes suffer from vulnerabilities like differential attack, statistical, known/chosen plaintext attack, and brute force attack. This paper proposes a novel approach to generate a pseudorandom key. This pseudo random key is combined with Logistic map (LM), cosine transformed Logistic map (CTLM) and cosine transformed Logistic-Sine Map (CTLSM), one by one, to implement three secure and efficient methods for satellite image encryption. The scheme uses the 384-bit of share key to perform encryption during the process. The proposed approaches are tested for parameters such as Entropy, Correlation Coefficient (CC), Number of Changing Pixel Rate (NPCR), Unified Averaged Changed Intensity (UACI), Avalanche effect, Bit Correct Ratio (BCR) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). The work also analyses the various cryptanalytic attacks on the proposed chaos and novel Pseudo random key combinations. The results show that the proposed pseudo random key and CTLSM combination outperforms the other two combinations, and is more efficient in resisting all type of attacks as well.

2013 Hindi Language Graphical User Interface to Database Management System
abstract
Database management systems have been widely used for storing and retrieving data. However, databases are hard to use since their interface is rigid in cooperating with users. Large number of e-governance applications like weather forecasting, agriculture, banking, railways etc. use database. For the people who are comfortable with Hindi language require these applications to accept a Hindi sentence as a query, process it and after execution provide result to the user in Hindi language. In this paper, we discuss the architecture of system to convert a Hindi sentence into equivalent SQL query. To make data retrieval easy for common person, in the developed system, the user can input query in Hindi language and get the result in same language. The users have no need to learn any formal query language like SQL to access the database.
