2023 Vehicular Communication Network Enabled CAV Data Offloading: A Review
abstract
The connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV) applications and services-based traffic make an extra burden on the already congested cellular networks. Offloading is envisioned as a promising solution to tackle cellular networks’ traffic explosion problem. Notably, vehicular traffic offloading leveraging different vehicular communication network (VCN) modes is one of the potential techniques to address the data traffic problem in cellular networks. This paper surveys the state-of-the-art literature for vehicular data offloading under a communication perspective, i.e., vehicle to vehicle (V2V), vehicle to roadside infrastructure (V2I), and vehicle to everything (V2X). First, we pinpoint the significant classification of vehicular data/traffic offloading techniques, considering whether data is to download or upload. Next, for better intuition of each data offloading’s category, we sub-classify the existing schemes based on their objectives. Then, the existing literature on vehicular data/traffic is elaborated, compared, and analyzed based on approaches, objectives, merits, demerits, etc. Finally, we highlight the open research challenges in this field and predict future research trends.

2019 A Miniature CCA Public Key Encryption Scheme Based on Non-abelian Factorization Problem in Finite Groups of Lie Type
abstract
Abstract With the development of Lie theory, Lie groups have attained profound significance in several branches of Mathematics and Physics. In Lie theory, the matrix exponential plays a crucial role between Lie groups and Lie algebras. Meanwhile, as the finite analogue of Lie groups, finite groups of Lie type have potential applications in cryptography due to their unique mathematical structures. In this paper, we first put forward a novel idea of designing cryptosystems based on Lie theory. First of all, combing with discrete logarithm problem and group factorization problem, we proposed several new intractable assumptions based on the matrix exponential in finite groups of Lie type. Subsequently, in analog with Boyen’s scheme (Asiacrypt 2007), we designed a public-key encryption scheme based on the non-abelian factorization problem in finite groups of Lie type. Finally, our proposal was proved to be indistinguishable against adaptively chosen-ciphertext attack in the random oracle model. It is encouraging that our scheme also has the potential to resist against Shor’s quantum algorithm attack.

2018 Anonymous Communication via Anonymous Identity-Based Encryption and Its Application in IoT
abstract
Under the environment of the big data, the correlation between the data makes people have a greater demand for privacy. Moreover, the world has become more diversified and democratic than ever before. Freedom of speech is considered to be very important; thus, anonymity is also a very important security demand. The research of our paper proposes a scheme which can ensure both the privacy and the anonymity of a communication system, that is, the protection of message privacy while ensuring the users’ anonymity. It is based on anonymous identity‐based encryption (IBE), by which the users’ m e t a d a t a are protected. We implement our scheme in JAVA with Java pairing‐based cryptography library (JPBC); the experiment shows that our scheme has significant advantage in efficiency compared with other anonymous communication system. Internet‐of‐Things (IoT) involves many devices, and privacy of devices is very significant. Anonymous communication system provides a secure environment without leaking metadata, which has many application scenarios in IoT.
