2026 Realistic and Controllable 3D Gaussian-Guided Object Editing for Driving Video Generation
abstract
Corner cases are crucial for training and validating autonomous driving systems, yet collecting them from the real world is often costly and hazardous. Editing objects within captured sensor data offers an effective alternative for generating diverse scenarios, commonly achieved through 3D Gaussian Splatting or image generative models. However, these approaches often suffer from limited visual fidelity or imprecise pose control. To address these issues, we propose G^2Editor, a framework designed for photorealistic and precise object editing in driving videos. Our method leverages a 3D Gaussian representation of the edited object as a dense prior, injected into the denoising process to ensure accurate pose control and spatial consistency. A scene-level 3D bounding box layout is employed to reconstruct occluded areas of non-target objects. Furthermore, to guide the appearance details of the edited object, we incorporate hierarchical fine-grained features as additional conditions during generation. Experiments on the Waymo Open Dataset demonstrate that G^2Editor effectively supports object repositioning, insertion, and deletion within a unified framework, outperforming existing methods in both pose controllability and visual quality, while also benefiting downstream data-driven tasks.

2025 DSRC: Learning Density-Insensitive and Semantic-Aware Collaborative Representation Against Corruptions
abstract
As a potential application of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, multi-agent collaborative perception has achieved significant success in 3D object detection. While these methods have demonstrated impressive results on standard benchmarks, the robustness of such approaches in the face of complex real-world environments requires additional verification. To bridge this gap, we introduce the first comprehensive benchmark designed to evaluate the robustness of collaborative perception methods in the presence of natural corruptions typical of real-world environments. Furthermore, we propose DSRC, a robustness-enhanced collaborative perception method aiming to learn Density-insensitive and Semantic-aware collaborative Representation against Corruptions. DSRC consists of two key designs: i) a semantic-guided sparse-to-dense distillation framework, which constructs multi-view dense objects painted by ground truth bounding boxes to effectively learn density-insensitive and semantic-aware collaborative representation; ii) a feature-to-point cloud reconstruction approach to better fuse critical collaborative representation across agents. To thoroughly evaluate DSRC, we conduct extensive experiments on real-world and simulated datasets. The results demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art collaborative perception methods in both clean and corrupted conditions.

2022 Real-time Implementation and Evaluation of SDR-based Deep Joint Source-Channel Coding
abstract
Benefiting from the advantage of joint source-channel coding in the finite block length regime and the advancement of AI technologies, deep joint source channel coding (DJSCC) has been extensively investigated for various sources (e.g., text source, image source, and video source) and achieved remarkable performance in limited bandwidth and low signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). However, the performance gain brought by DJSCC methods is all observed via simulations in literature, where synchronization, channel estimation and the power amplifier are assumed to be perfect. In this paper, we design a software-defined radio (SDR) based platform to validate the DJSCC method for image transmission in real wireless scenarios.

2014 Inductive Transfer Deep Hashing for Image Retrieval
abstract
With the explosive increase of online images, fast similarity search is increasingly critical for large scale image retrieval. Several hashing methods have been proposed to accelerate image retrieval, a promising way is semantic hashing which designs compact binary codes for a large number of images so that semantically similar images are mapped to similar codes. Supervised methods can handle such semantic similarity but they are prone to overfitting when the labeled data is few or noisy. In this paper, we concentrate on this issue and propose a novel Inductive Transfer Deep Hashing (ITDH) approach for semantic hashing based image retrieval. A transfer deep learning algorithm has been employed to learn the robust image representation, and the neighborhood-structure preserved method has been used to mapped the image into discriminative hash codes in hamming space. The combination of the two techniques ensures that we obtain a good feature representation and a fast query speed without depending on large amounts of labeled data. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach is superior to some state-of-the-art methods.
