Expertise — from the expertise taxonomy: the topics of the expert's papers under the CCF categories. A weight counts papers with recency: 1 for a paper about the topic, 0.3 when the topic is its context, halved every five years.

| 1987 | Code Acquisition for a Frequency-Hopping SystemabstractCode acquisition for a frequency-hopping code-division multiple-access system using Reed-Solomon coding is investigated. The one-coincidence codes which minimize the user interference are shown to be well suited for initial synchronization but are less appropriate for regaining synchronism during transmission. A modified code construction is proposed, which has good capability of both startup and resynchronization. István Vajda, Gudmundur Einarsson |
