| 2026 | Utilization of Quantum Random Numbers in Crystal-Kyber Based Post Quantum Virtual Private Network for Vehicular CommunicationabstractVirtual Private Networks (VPN) have greatly contributed towards enhancing the data security of users over the Internet. Even extension of office environment and remote access is possible due to VPNs. However, the current VPN technologies pose a threat from Quantum-Powered Adversaries as these systems can break the Public Key Encryption Schemes used by VPN to share session keys. Moreover, these systems are also capable to guess random numbers generated using Pseudo-random generators. In this paper, we propose a True Random Number based Crystal Kyber Post Quantum Virtual Private Network (PQVPN) and analyse its strength with respect to classical and quantum adversaries. We also present our comparison against other PQVPN solutions and discuss its viability in Vehicular Network. Sarvesh V. Sawant, Bhawana Rudra |

| 2025 | Framework for Quantum-Based Deepfake Video Detection (Without Audio)abstractArtificial intelligence (AI) has made human tasks easier compared to earlier days. It has revolutionized various domains, from paper drafting to video editing. However, some individuals exploit AI to create deceptive content, such as fake videos, audios, and images, to mislead others. To address this, researchers and large corporations have proposed solutions for detecting fake content using classical deep learning models. However, these models often suffer from a large number of trainable parameters, which leads to large model sizes and, consequently, computational intensive. To overcome these limitations, we propose various hybrid classical–quantum models that use a classical pre‐trained model as a front‐end feature extractor, followed by a quantum‐based LSTM network, that is, QLSTM. These pre‐trained models are based on the ResNet architecture, such as ResNet34, 50, and 101. We have compared the performance of the proposed models with their classical counterparts. These proposed models combine the strengths of classical and quantum systems for the detection of deepfake video (without audio). Our results indicate that the proposed models significantly reduce the number of trainable parameters, as well as quantum long short‐term memory (QLSTM) parameters, which leads to a smaller model size than the classical models. Despite the reduced parameter, the performance of the proposed models is either superior to or comparable with that of their classical equivalent. The proposed hybrid quantum models, that is, ResNet34‐QLSTM, ResNet50‐QLSTM, and ResNet101‐QLSTM, achieve a reduction of approximately 1.50%, 4.59%, and 5.24% in total trainable parameters compared to their equivalent classical models, respectively. Additionally, QLSTM linked with the proposed models reduces its trainable parameters by 99.02%, 99.16%, and 99.55%, respectively, compared to equivalent classical LSTM. This significant reduction highlights the efficiency of the quantum‐based network in terms of resource usage. The trained model sizes of the proposed models are 81.35, 88.06, and 162.79, and their equivalent classical models are 82.59, 92.28, and 171.76 in MB, respectively. | 2020 | Distributed Adaptive Video Streaming using Inter-Server Data Distribution and Agent-based Adaptive Load BalancingabstractAs the number and hours of videos available within an organisation increases, as well as it's demand, the need for fast video streaming applications arises. Cloud based services are not cost effective and are not an ideal choice for storing the ever-increasing video data that is usually stored and used only within a particular organisation, like a University. Hence, this paper proposes a web based system design to store and stream videos at a small-scale within an organisation. To improve the video viewing experience for the user, the system is flexible to handle sudden changes, like increase in number of requests. The system requires the use of a cluster of servers to deliver the content as a single server cannot handle the load as number of requests increases. This requires effective load distribution among the servers. This paper proposes a way to design this system for adaptive video streaming. This system is highly scalable and can handle high loads, i.e. a higher number of users connecting to the application simultaneously. This paper proposes an algorithm called inter-server load balancing algorithm with Adaptive Agent-based load balancing to solve this problem. The algorithms also incorporates dynamic video resolution delivery techniques to ensure smooth viewing experience in the whole user experience irrespective of the network speed and bandwidth.
