Expertise — from the expertise taxonomy: the topics of the expert's papers under the CCF categories. A weight counts papers with recency: 1 for a paper about the topic, 0.3 when the topic is its context, halved every five years.

| 1973 | Analog Solutions of Nonlinear Boundary-Value Problems by the Continuation MethodabstractThe analog solution of nonlinear two-point boundary-value problems by the noniterative continuation method is described. It is shown that a two-point boundary-value problem can be reformulated as a rather complicated initial-value problem. The solution of this latter problem is demonstrated for a simple example, on a modern analog computer with fast repetitive mode. A special emphasis is put on the comparison between continuation and iteration methods. Eliahu Wasserstorm, Albert Kirszenblat |
