| 1959 | Time Multiplexing as Applied to Analog ComputationabstractThis multiplexer can perform a common dynamic operation upon several sets of inputs utilizing equipment for one dynamic operation. The result of the multiplexing will yield the corresponding several sets of outputs as though each set of inputs were operated upon separately by the dynamic operation. This device is useful when the dynamic operation to be shared involves relatively expensive equipment such as electromechanical gear and/or electronic computing or measuring circuits. It is particularly useful to reduce the number of components required when implementing problems in a simulation laboratory. Eugene Rawdin |
