| 2026 | CO-EVO: Co-evolving Semantic Anchoring and Style Diversification for Federated DG-ReIDabstractFederated domain generalization for person reidentification (FedDG-ReID) aims to collaboratively train a pedestrian retrieval model across multiple decentralized source domains such that it can generalize to unseen target environments without compromising raw data privacy. However, this task is significantly challenged by the inherent stylistic gaps across decentralized clients.Without global supervision, models easily succumb to shortcut learning where representations overfit to domain specific camera biases rather than universal identity features. We propose CO-EVO, a novel federated framework that resolves this semantic-style conflict through a co-evolutionary mechanism. On the semantic side, Camera-Invariant Semantic Anchoring (CSA) learns identity prompts with cross-camera consistency to establish purified and domain-agnostic anchors that filter out local imaging noise. On the visual side, Global Style Diversification (GSD), powered by a Global Camera-Style Bank (GCSB), synthesizes realistic perturbations to expand the visual boundaries of training data. The core of CO-EVO is its co-evolutionary loop where purified anchors act as gravitational centers to guide the image encoder toward robust anatomical attributes amidst diverse style variations.Extensive experiments demonstrate that CO-EVO achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance, proving that the synergy between semantic purification and style expansion is essential for robust cross-domain generalization. | 2025 | Efficient Indoor Depth Completion Network Using Mask-adaptive Gated ConvolutionabstractMost indoor depth completion tasks rely on convolutional auto-encoders to reconstruct depth images, especially in areas with significant missing values. While traditional convolution treats valid and missing pixels equally, Partial Convolution (PConv) has mitigated this limitation. However, PConv fails to distinguish the varying degree of invalidity across different missing areas, which highlights the need for a more refined strategy. To solve this problem, we propose a novel system for indoor depth completion tasks that leverages Mask-adaptive Gated Convolution (MagaConv). MagaConv utilizes gated signals to selectively apply convolution kernels based on the characteristics of missing depth data. These gating signals are generated using shared convolution kernels that jointly process depth features and corresponding masks, ensuring coherent weight optimization. Additionally, the mask undergoes iterative updates according to predefined rules. To improve the fusion of depth and color information, we introduce a Bi-directional Aligning Projection (Bid-AP) module, which utilizes a bi-directional projection scheme with global spatial-channel attention mechanisms to filter out depth-irrelevant features from other modalities. Extensive experiments on popular benchmarks, including NYU-Depth V2, DIML, and SUN RGB-D, demonstrate that our model outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both accuracy and efficiency. | 2025 | DriveScape: High-Resolution Driving Video Generation by Multi-View Feature FusionabstractRecent advancements in generative models offer promising solutions for synthesizing realistic driving videos, aiding in training autonomous driving perception models. However, existing methods often struggle with high-resolution multi-view generation, mainly due to the significant memory and computational overhead caused by simultaneously inputting multi-view videos into denoising diffusion models. In this paper, we propose a driving video generation framework based on multi-view feature fusion named DriveScape for multi-view 3D condition-guided video generation. We introduce a Bi-Directional Modulated Transformer (BiMoT) module to encode, fuse and inject multiview features along with various 3D road structures and objects, which enables high-resolution multi-view generation. Consequently, our approach allows precise control over video generation, greatly enhancing realism and providing a robust solution for creating high-quality, multi-view driving videos. Our framework achieves state-of-the-art results on the nuScenes dataset, demonstrating impressive generative quality metrics with an FID score of 8.34 and an FVD score of 76.39, as well as superior performance across various perception tasks. This lays the foundation for more accurate environment simulation in autonomous driving. Our project homepage. Wei Wu 0021, Weixuan Tang 0001, Tingxuan Huang, Chiyu Wang, Chenjing Ding |

| 2023 | AGG-Net: Attention Guided Gated-convolutional Network for Depth Image CompletionabstractRecently, stereo vision based on lightweight RGBD cameras has been widely used in various fields. However, limited by the imaging principles, the commonly used RGB-D cameras based on TOF, structured light, or binocular vision acquire some invalid data inevitably, such as weak reflection, boundary shadows, and artifacts, which may bring adverse impacts to the follow-up work. In this paper, we propose a new model for depth image completion based on the Attention Guided Gated-convolutional Network (AGG-Net), through which more accurate and reliable depth images can be obtained from the raw depth maps and the corresponding RGB images. Our model employs a UNet-like architecture which consists of two parallel branches of depth and color features. In the encoding stage, an Attention Guided Gated-Convolution (AG-GConv) module is proposed to realize the fusion of depth and color features at different scales, which can effectively reduce the negative impacts of invalid depth data on the reconstruction. In the decoding stage, an Attention Guided Skip Connection (AG-SC) module is presented to avoid introducing too many depth-irrelevant features to the reconstruction. The experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods on the popular benchmarks NYU-Depth V2, DIML, and SUN RGB-D. https://github.com/htx0601/AGG-Net Dongyue Chen 0001, Tingxuan Huang, Zhimin Song, Shizhuo Deng, Tong Jia 0001 |
