1979 A Simple Model of Processor - Resource Utilization in Networks of Communicating Modules
abstract
A simple model of a system of processors competing for resources is presented. It permits the derivation of upper bounds for the utilization of the system components that are surprisingly close to those previously obtained from far more complicated analyses or simulations.
