| 2000 | Technology transfer macro-process: a practical guide for the effective introduction of technologyabstractIn our efforts to increase software development productivity, we have worked to introduce numerous software development techniques and technologies into various target organizations. Through these efforts, we have come to understand the difficulties involved in technical transfer. Some of the major hurdles that these organizations face during technical transfers are tight schedules and budgets. We have made efforts to lighten this load by using various customization techniques and have defined an overall process called the Technology Transfer Macro-Process that we can use to introduce a wide variety of software development techniques and technologies into a target organization.
