1972 Inversion of Persymmetric Matrices Having Toeplitz Inverses
abstract
A characterization of a class of persymmetric matrices having Toeplitz inverses is obtained and an algorithm is developed to test for the existence of such an inverse and to construct elements thereof. This algorithm essentially reverses the steps of the Trench algorithm for inverting Toeplitz matrices.
