2013 Make your own piccolo
abstract
Piccolo is a miniature Arduino-compatible open source kit for tinkering with basic CNC output. In this studio, we introduce CNC as a concept, guide users to make their own Piccolo, and create artifacts with it. The participants' creations and suggestions will contribute to the development of Piccolo.

Tardigotchi is a device art object that could be described as a game, toy, vivarium and digital pet. The authors of this paper, Tardigotchi's inventors, will describe its composition and interactive functions, precedents that led to this work, as well as some related scientific and philosophical themes.
