Domains — the database's venue-derived domains; a paper can count in several
Systems, architecture and hardware · 1Software engineering, systems software and programming languages · 1
Expertise — from the expertise taxonomy: the topics of the expert's papers under the CCF categories. A weight counts papers with recency: 1 for a paper about the topic, 0.3 when the topic is its context, halved every five years.

| 1980 | Macro-Based Cross AssemblersabstractThe problem of implementing cross assemblers by means of a macro expansion technique is addressed. Various problems caused by the implementation technique proper, as well as the target machine instruction set, are identified. Karel R. Tavernier, Paul H. Notredame |

| 1978 | A Stochastic Model for Closed-Loop Preemptive Microprocessor I/O OrganizationsabstractA stochastic model of closed-loop priority I/O systems is developed in which request generation is assumed to be exponential but service time distributions are arbitrary. This model reflects the code granularity caused by the implementation. Using this model, an interrupt-driven system is compared to a similar system with polled I/O on the basis of latency times and CPU utilization. Jan M. Van Campenhout, Paul H. Notredame |
