abstract
Altix customers will report their experiences with the Altix 450 and the Altix 4700 blade technology as well as the SGI RASC RC100's with Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology. The panel will concentrate on topics like shared memory parallelization, NumaLink, CXFS and other topics. SGI plans to be out of Chapter 11 before SC06 and panel members will discuss the new SGI and what the future holds in service, support, new technology and expectations.
