2018 Crashing Modulus Attack on Modular Squaring for Rabin Cryptosystem
abstract
The Rabin cryptosystem has been proposed protect the unique ID (UID) in radio-frequency identification tags. The Rabin cryptosystem is a type of lightweight public key system that is theoretically quite secure; however it is vulnerable to several side-channel attacks. In this paper, a crashing modulus attack is presented as a new fault attack on modular squaring during Rabin encryption. This attack requires only one fault in the public key if its perturbed public key can be factored. Our simulation results indicate that the attack is more than 50 percent successful with several faults in practical time. A complicated situation arises when reconstructing the message, including the UID, from ciphertext, i.e., the message and the perturbed public key are not relatively prime. We present a complete and mathematically rigorous message reconstruction algorithm for such a case. Moreover, we propose an exact formula to obtain a number of candidate messages. We show that the number is not generally equal to a power of two.

2013 Interruption-response visualization using click-stream analysis
abstract
In a large practical engineering class, it is difficult for the instructor to give learners additional instructions while they are doing their work. Therefor, it is useful for instructors to be able to track the responses of learners after they give instructions. To accomplish this, a click-stream visualization technique based on Web access log analysis can help instructors examine the extent to which learners have received the information they were given. In this paper, we propose an interruption-response visualization method for a large practical engineering class, using log analysis.

2011 Development of new e-Learning contents using the Augmented Reality Technology
abstract
A learning content used in e-Learning system is prone to one-sided outbound of information. It is difficult to use in laboratory courses require work with the real tools. However, students will easily understand how to operate equipment by watch the real things rather than seeing them illustrated. Therefore, we focused attention on the augmented reality (AR) technology to solve this issue. By using it, we can make new e-Learning content that can shows instruction on the actual environment through 3D computer graphics models with some instruction information. In this paper, we propose the new e-Learning content using the AR, and report about developed the prototype content with evaluation of students.
