| 2025 | GEF: A GNN-Based Evaluation Framework for FPGA Routing ArchitectureabstractThe routing architecture significantly impacts the performance of modern FPGAs, motivating extensive research into its design space exploration (DSE). However, DSE efficiency is hindered by non-generalizable parametrization methods and considerable runtime overhead of FPGA architecture evaluation tools. In this paper, we propose GEF, a GNN-based FPGA Evaluation Framework that predicts routability and area-delay product (ADP) across various routing architectures. In GEF, we introduce Intra-Tile Graph, a novel intermediate representation (IR) that encodes global routing patterns in a compact form, serving as the input to predictors. The Routability Predictor (Rou-P) integrates Self-Attention Pooling (SAGPool), while the ADP Predictor (ADP-P) benefits from intermediate supervision through auxiliary node-level labels. Experimental results demonstrate the high accuracy of GEF, with Rou-P achieving 94.56% and ADP-P 94.57 %, respectively. We also conduct ablation studies, which further validate that GEF achieves substantial enhancements through efficient architecture modeling and timingaware analysis. Finally, a case study on routing architecture exploration with the incorporation of GEF is presented, which achieves a$\mathbf{1 5} \boldsymbol{\times}$speedup and enhanced improvements. | 2022 | LS-GAN: Iterative Language-based Image Manipulation via Long and Short Term Consistency ReasoningabstractIterative language-based image manipulation aims to edit images step by step according to user's linguistic instructions. The existing methods mostly focus on aligning the attributes and appearance of new-added visual elements with current instruction. However, they fail to maintain consistency between instructions and images as iterative rounds increase. To address this issue, we propose a novel Long and Short term consistency reasoning Generative Adversarial Network (LS-GAN), which enhances the awareness of previous objects with current instruction and better maintains the consistency with the user's intent under the continuous iterations. Specifically, we first design a Context-aware Phrase Encoder (CPE) to learn the user's intention by extracting different phrase-level information about the instruction. Further, we introduce a Long and Short term Consistency Reasoning (LSCR) mechanism. The long-term reasoning improves the model on semantic understanding and positional reasoning, while short-term reasoning ensures the ability to construct visual scenes based on linguistic instructions. Extensive results show that LS-GAN improves the generation quality in terms of both object identity and position, and achieves the state-of-the-art performance on two public datasets. | 2011 | RestThing: A Restful Web Service Infrastructure for Mash-Up Physical and Web ResourcesabstractIn the field of Cyber Physical Systems and Pervasive Computing, physical resources and web resources can be easily handled and seamlessly integrated into our life. However, due to the heterogeneity of devices and tight coupling of individual information systems, the developers cannot easily create their specific applications by combining with physical and web resources. In this paper, we proposed Rest Thing which is a restful web service infrastructure based on REST principles in order to hide the heterogeneity of devices and provide a seamless way to integrate embedded devices with existing web applications. Besides, we implemented a prototyping system, which provided the restful accessible way of the wireless sensors, and built a demo application on the smart phone to collect and merge physical and web resources. Finally, we gave the performance evaluation of the prototyping system. Weijun Qin, Qiang Li 0007, Limin Sun 0001, Hongsong Zhu, Yan Liu 0021 |

| 2010 | IOT Gateway: BridgingWireless Sensor Networks into Internet of ThingsabstractWith the development of sensor, wireless mobile communication, embedded system and cloud computing, the technologies of Internet of Things have been widely used in logistics, Smart Meter, public security, intelligent building and so on. Because of its huge market prospects, Internet of Things has been paid close attention by several governments all over the world, which is regarded as the third wave of information technology after Internet and mobile communication network. Bridging between wireless sensor networks with traditional communication networks or Internet, IOT Gateway plays an important role in IOT applications, which facilitates the seamless integration of wireless sensor networks and mobile communication networks or Internet, and the management and control with wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we proposed an IOT Gateway system based on Zigbee and GPRS protocols according to the typical IOT application scenarios and requirements from telecom operators, presented the data transmission between wireless sensor networks and mobile communication networks, protocol conversion of different sensor network protocols, and control functionalities for sensor networks, and finally gave an implementation of prototyping system and system validation.
