2026 Advanced Side-Channel Evaluation Using Contextual Deep Learning-Based Leakage Modeling
abstract
Side-channel attacks (SCAs) exploit power analysis to extract secret information. Researchers have employed this technique to disassemble software and retrieve cryptographic keys by examining power consumption or electromagnetic emissions. They utilized hardware or Hamming-based fluctuations measurement to profile or model the power leakage. Developers employ power modeling to comprehend software leakage, although manually profiling the power trace across various devices and architectures requires time and effort. This work proposes a custom deep learning (DL) method to model the power trace. The DL model was trained to analyze how each assembly instruction produces leakage based on its context with other instructions. The proposed method can predict the power trace with 0.9963 R² from unseen assembly instructions. This method automates device leakage testing and captures contextual and non-linear relationships to help developers understand the software behavior, significantly reducing the time and effort required for power modeling. The potential impact of this DL model on software security is that it can effectively mitigate the risk of SCAs, thus enhancing the overall security of software systems.

2021 Multilateral Personal Portfolio Authentication System Based on Hyperledger Fabric
abstract
Korean education-related evaluation agencies utilize a centralized system that directly manages learner data. This leaves the intellectual property of the organizations and the personal information of the students vulnerable to leakage should the central server be attacked. In this study, the researchers propose a multilateral personal portfolio authentication system that guarantees the reliability, integrity, and transparency of the data such as learner's schooling history. The system uses the features of blockchain in a distributed network wherein a learner submits schooling data to a peer in the network. The data is then verified through an agreement among the peers and recorded in a chronologically encrypted ledger. The proposed system is implemented based on Hyperledger Fabric and the analysis thereof conducted by evaluating its processing speed, capacity, and security. The analysis indicates that the system is able to successfully intercept the transactions of unvalidated users, thereby preventing the recording of incorrect data by an unauthorized user. Furthermore, it provides a record of previously made changes to a learner's profile, thus improving the integrity and reliability of the data. This system provides a platform to share learner information safely and promptly among schools, certification authorities, and higher learning institutions.

2018 A Type Information Reconstruction Scheme Based on Long Short-Term Memory for Weakness Analysis in Binary File
abstract
Due to increasing use of third-party libraries because of the increasing complexity of software development, the lack of management of legacy code and the nature of embedded software, the use of third-party libraries which have no source code is increasing. Without the source code, it is difficult to analyze these libraries for vulnerabilities. Therefore, to analyze weaknesses inherent in binary code, various studies have been conducted to perform static analysis using intermediate code. The conversion from binary code to intermediate language differs depending on the execution environment. In this paper, we propose a deep learning-based analysis method to reconstruct missing data types during the compilation process from binary code to intermediate language, and propose a method to generate supervised learning data for deep learning.

2016 Adaptive convex skyline: a threshold-based project partitioned layer-based index for efficient-processing top-k queries in entrepreneurship applications
abstract
Many entrepreneurship applications use data as the core concept of their business to better understand the needs of their customers. However, as the size of databases used by these entrepreneurship applications grows and as more users access data through various interactive interfaces, obtaining the result for a top-k query may take long time if the query matches millions of the tuples in the database. Traditionally, layer-based indexing methods are representative for processing top-k queries efficiently. These methods form tuples into a list of layers where the ith layer holds the tuples that can be the top-i answer. Layer-based indexing methods enable us to obtain top-k answers by accessing at most k layers. Most of these methods achieve high accuracy of query answer at the expense of enlarged index construction time. However, we can adjust between accuracy and index construction time to achieve an optimal performance. Thus in this paper, we propose a method, called the adaptive convex skyline (AdaptCS) for efficient-processing top-k queries in entrepreneurship applications. AdaptCS first prunes the data with a virtual threshold point and finds skyline points over the pruned data. Here, by adjusting virtual threshold we are able to achieve optimal performance. Then, AdaptCS divides the skyline into m subregions with projection partitioning method and constructs the convex hull m times for each subregion with virtual objects. Lastly, AdaptCS combines the objects obtained by computing the convex hull. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the existing methods.
